Xiaomi Set to Launch Its Own Processor “Pinecone” SoC on 28th February

A SoC, or system-on-a-chip to give its full name, integrates most of those parts into one micro chip. beside a C.P.U., SoC typically contains a GPU (a graphics processor), memory, USB controller, power management circuits, and wireless radios (WiFi, 3G, 4G LTE, and so on). makers who have with success enforced their own chips include market leaders Samsung with its “Exynos”, Apple with its “A” series, and Huawei with its own “Kirin” processor. Xiaomi are going to be the fourth player connexion them very shortly.

We first detected news of Xiaomi developing its own chips in mid-2015 once the vice chairman of the processor manufacturer Leadcore declared a partnership with Xiaomi to assist it style them.
