After a lot of hype and much awaiting, finally the GOD of phones is announced by Nokia at the Mobile World Congress 2017. Yes, the Legendary Nokia 3310 has been relaunched in its new updated avatar with the same old feel of a classic retro brick phone.

A lot of rumors were there in the market related to the nokia 3310 that it will be having the same old body and some rumors pointed towards a touchscreen version of the 3310, but claiming all those rumors false, the company launched the phone today along with other three phones Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6.

The 3310 is launched in 4 poppy eye catching color variants of :

  • Warm Red
  • Dark Blue
  • Yellow
  • Grey

Along with it, it is powered by a battery with a battery life of whopping 22 hours of call and 31 days of stand-by time which is just a rare sight these days.

Moreover, the phone features these specs:

  • A 2.4” Display
  • 16 MB of internal memory (“Yes, it is literally 16 MB only, not a typo :P”)
  • 32GB expandable memory
  • 2G single/dual sim slot
  • 2MP primary camera with a LED flash (Please dont expect a selfie camera)
  • 3.5 mm audio jack
  • Micro USB port for charging
  • Bluetooth
  • OS: Nokia Series 30+
  • The SNAKE is back too

Thus these are the features of the phone. It is not having WiFi, nor the 3G or 4G support, the secondary camera and many more necessary things that have been ubiquitous in present day phones.

Nokia tried to give it a retro edge by pushing in bare minimum features in the phone, but disturbed the originality instead. This phone is a perfect option for those who want a secondary driver device for emergency calling and messaging with a ultra long battery life. It will be costing around INR 4000 and will hit the markets within next month.

Thus overall, 3310 is a nice try from nokia to deliver a CUTE device which people may buy as 3310 being the first mobile device of many of us was somewhere emotionally attached to all of us in one or the other way round.
